Hello there! I hold a Ph.D. in Economics and Finance from the University of St.Gallen (SFI), where I am currently employed as a researcher. I was a visiting doctoral researcher at Columbia Business School during fall 2024.
My research focuses on international finance, financial intermediation, asset pricing, and market microstructure, with a focus on foreign exchange (FX) markets and short-term interest rate trading. My work studies how frictions - such as the unintended consequences of banking regulation - impact asset prices. Another recurring theme is how hidden links between seemingly unrelated financial markets clarify otherwise puzzling dynamics.
On this website you may find my CV, research papers, and teaching materials.
